The SAFER2028 Framework Plan determines the detailed objectives of the different research areas and specifies the organisational structure of the research programme.
The Ministry of Employment and Economy (MEAE) appointed representatives of central organizations taking part in nuclear safety activities to a planning group to produce the Framework Plan. The work started in March 2021. The group has supplemented its expertise by consulting experts and professionals from different organisations.
The Management Group of the programme may supplement the Framework Plan for each annual call if found beneficial.
