Are you a doctoral student doing research on nuclear safety, nuclear waste management or other nuclear energy related field, funded by SAFER2028 programme or from elsewhere? Or are you a supervisor of such doctoral students? In that case we invite you to join the DENSE network.
Nuclear safety and nuclear waste management are multidisciplinary research areas. Networking is expected to enhance scientific cross-cutting discussions on nuclear issues as well as demonstrate the need for multidisciplinary problem-solving capabilities.
Membership in the network does not obligate you to participate in its activities, but you will be informed about the possibilities. Possibilities include participation in an annual seminar, preliminarily in August, as well as funding that can be applied for mobility and other purposes related with doctoral studies. More information about the annual seminar as well as the funding opportunities will be distributed during spring 2023.
If you are interested to sign up or if you have questions, please contact the coordinator of DENSE Dr. Jarmo Ala-Heikkilä at Aalto University (jarmo.ala-heikkila@aalto.fi). You may also be in touch with the representative of your own organization in DENSE Steering Group or SG5 (see DENSE poster).
